In the chosen marked first draft of a peers papers, I think my comments reflect both my current proficiency with peer comments but also where there is room for improvement. Most of my comments were focused on places where the writer could explain their ideas more clearly or more in depth, places of confusion, and places of repetition. The comments are mostly global revisions that would help to strengthen their argument or make their essay easier to understand. I feel like I might be able to improve on comments about local revisions, like grammar and spelling, but only after I get better at eliminating those mistakes from my own writing. I could also improve in making suggestions for how to improve writing. I noticed that my comments in all peer-reviewed papers mostly focus on what is wrong but give no help or ideas as to how they should go about fixing those areas of confusion.
