My significant writing project doesn’t really show my ability to cite sources using MLA. In it, I made a few mistakes, like not adding a citation from Gee for a lot of the content in my introductory paragraph. It also includes a mistake in the format of a cited title in text. However, these two mistakes are things, paraphrasing and indirect sources, that I’ve never had to deal with before in my essays, so I was unfamiliar with how to properly cite them in text but also didn’t think that they would be cited in a different way. My significant writing project does have some citing accuracy in my works cited and in-text citation of an indirect source. In regards to local revisions, my writing project has only a few local errors that I missed, like a fragment sentence, but for the most part, I did well on fixing my most common grammatical, spelling, and syntax errors.
